DIRECTIONS TO THE PEPPER MUFFIN COUNTRY INN FROM THE SOUTH

Directions from Horseshoe Bay/Departure Bay Ferry Terminal to the Pepper Muffin Country Inn

Upon leaving the ferry terminal in Departure Bay, turn right at the first traffic light onto Brechin Road. After about 1 km, this connects with the Old Island Highway (also known as Terminal Avenue, and Highway 19A). Get into the left lane as you go up Brechin Road so that you will naturally flow onto the Old Island Highway, and you will remain in the left lane.

About 1 km down Highway 19A you will turn left onto Northfield Road. The first traffic light you come to is Bowen Road – keep going – the next traffic light is the Nanaimo Parkway (also known as the Island Highway or Highway 19). Turn right onto this highway heading north towards Parksville/Qualicum.

About 5 km north at Exit 24 turn left onto Jingle Pot Road. Approximately 1.2 km later, when you see a 60km an hour sign on the right hand side of the road slow down. Our drive way is the second lane on the left. You are at 3718 Jingle Pot Road with the Pepper Muffin Inn on the large open property. You should see our sign and the long white fence. We are the big blue house on the flats and at night our house is lit with blue trim lights.


Directions from Tsawwassen/Duke Point Ferry Terminal, Nanaimo Airport or Victoria to the Pepper Muffin Country Inn

Upon leaving the ferry terminal at Duke Point, head south west on Hwy 19 for approximately 8km. Hwy 19 will merge right with Hwy 1. When coming into Nanaimo you will start down a long gradual hill. Stay in the RIGHT hand lane and follow the Campbell River/Parksville signage via the off ramp; this off ramp will become the Nanaimo Parkway (also known as the Island Highway or Highway 19). Hwy 1 will lead you through downtown Nanaimo and to the Departure Bay Ferry Terminal.

Proceed through 3 sets of lights. 1- College Way (Exit 16); 2 - Jingle Pot (Exit 18); 3 – Northfield Road (Exit 21). At the 4th set of lights Jingle Pot Road – (Exit 24) proceed into the left hand turn lane. Turn left onto Jingle Pot Road and travel 1.2km.

When you see a 60km an hour sign on the right hand side of the road slow down - our drive way is the second lane on the left. Directions from Courtenay/Comox to the Pepper Muffin Country Inn

Once you have reached the city limits you will drive through 4 sets of lights. After the second set of lights you will see signage that says city centre and ferries – do not take this exit. Continue on Hwy 19 through lights 3 and 4 (Exit 28). The next set of lights is Exit 24 – Jingle Pot Road. Turn right onto Jingle Pot Road and travel 1.2km.

 



Directions from Tofino/Port Alberni
to the Pepper Muffin Country Inn

At the Highway Junction before Parksville, turn right off of Hwy 4 and merge onto Hwy 19. Continue on Hwy 19 toward the City of Nanaimo city limits.
