
12 slices brioche or French bread 1 ½ inches thick – slice a pocket in each and insert a slice of brie and a slice of thin deli ham.
Recipe Ingredients
- 10 eggs
- 1 ½ cups whipping cream
- Pinch of salt
- ½ tsp ground pepper
- ¼ tsp dry mustard
- ¼ cup sugar
Beat together the above ingredients.
Soak the bread in the egg mixture until soggy. Sauté in butter until brown in fry pan.
Place on a pammed cookie sheet. Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes until golden and bread puffs.
Dust with icing sugar and serve with maple syrup.
